Turkey's main opposition party has decided to not specifically target the ruling party during their election campaign but instead focus on explaining their significant future projects.

A total of 12 political parties have withdrawn from the June 7 parliamentary elections in Turkey, with 11 of them not submitting their lists of nomination candidates by April 7.

Eleven of the 31 political parties which were eligible to enter the elections on June 7 did not submit their lists, automatically disqualifying them from the election ballot. 

Having presented the main opposition Republican People's Party's (CHP) list of candidates to run for parliament in the June 7 elections, CHP head Kemal K?l?çdaro?lu has said the party has prepared a comprehensive list embracing all Turkish society, including women, disabled people and ethnic minority candidates.

550 candidates of the social democrat party represent the most inclusive list of candidacy for the upcoming parliamentary elections in comparison with other important political parties, a party official has said, informing that 20 percent of candidates are female with many of them having the chance to be elected.
