"So-called 'Kosovo army' unacceptable to us"
It would be a gross violation of UN Resolution 1244 and the (1999) Kumanovo Military-Technical Agreement, Serbian Defense Minister Aleksandar Vulin said on Monday.
During his meeting with Italian Ambassador to Serbia Carlo Lo Cascio, Vulin said that Serbia appreciated the professional engagement of Italian troops in the KFOR mission in Kosovo and Metohija.

Belgrade-based daily Blic writes this, and adds that "the two leaders should reach an agreement on that issue."
The newspaper claims, citing diplomatic sources, that this is "the plan of the Serbian leadership and President Aleksandar Vucic."
UNMIK will continue in Kosovo, say UN officials

Speaking at the National Assembly's Foreign Affairs Committee, Dacic said that in the past six months his minsitry worked to preserve the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Serbia, EU integrations, and enhance cooperation with regional countries.
Serbia to open new EU chapters on June 25 - report
European diplomatic sources said it is expected that "most likely" two chapters will be opened.
However, they does not rule out the possibility for EU member states to agree on opening another chapter by June 25.
Serbia has so far opened 12 of the 35 chapters, of which two have been temporarily closed.

Pristina officials says UN mission "no longer needed"
"Peacekeepers are needed in conflict zones, but the existence of UNMIK in Kosovo is now unnecessary, because there is sustainable stability in the country. The mission of UNMIK should be completed and its budget allocated elsewhere," he wrote on Twitter.
Hoxhaj has previously stated that the UN mission in Kosovo should be abolished.
