UNSC meeting on Kosovo to be held in New York on Friday
NEW YORK - A UN Security Council (UNSC) meeting to present UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon's regular quarterly report on the situation in Kosovo-Metohija will be held in New York on Friday.
Serbia’s First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic will participate in the meeting.
UN Security Council to hold session on Kosovo on Aug 25
NEW YORK - The United Nations Security Council (UNSC) will meet on August 25 to discuss the regular quarterly report by UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon on the situation in Kosovo-Metohija.
A temporary schedule of sessions, published on the UN website, said that the debate on the situation in Kosovo should be held in the morning hours local time.
UN Security Council discusses report on Kosovo
BELGRADE - The UN Security Council will hold a meeting on Tuesday to discuss the latest report by Secretary General Ban Ki-moon on the situation in Kosovo, and Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic will also speak at the meeting.
Nikolic will meet with Ban during his visit to New York, the presidential press service has stated.

Mrkic: Vatican has no intention of recognizing Kosovo
BELGRADE - The Vatican does not intend to recognize the unilaterally proclaimed independence of Kosovo-Metohija (KiM), and there are no signals that the five EU member states will change their position concerning the non-recognition of Kosovo's independence either, Serbian Foreign Minister Ivan Mrkic has said.

BELGRADE - The Office for Kosovo -Metohija (KiM) has stated that no referendum on independence was carried out in the territory of KiM, adding that neither Albanians nor Serbs or any other ethnic community living in KiM took part in it.
