The US Embassy in Greece and the Delphi Economic Forum, in collaboration with Art in Embassies, on Tuesday announced the Partners in Democracy initiative, scheduled for May 24 and 25 in Athens.

Turks showed most sensitivity to animal rights last year
With a total of 2.3 million signatures last year, animal rights were the subject that the Turkish society showed the most sensitivity to and took action last year on change.org, a website offering the public to submit petitions and collect signatures.
NGO collects necessary signatures for repeal of several laws in one day
Ljubljana – The 8 March Institute has already collected enough signatures to introduce a bill aimed at repealing several government-sponsored laws that the NGO finds harmful. The campaign started on Wednesday and the minimum threshold of signatures, 5,000, was crossed already that day, said the NGO, which aims to get 60,000 signatures.

According to government data, 2,720 persons filed lawsuits against the state for publishing their names on lists of people ordered to self-isolate.
Govt to sign cooperation memorandum with Google
Ljubljana – The government’s Digital Transformation Office will sign a memorandum of understanding with US internet giant Google on Thursday. The agreement will be the cornerstone document for Google’s investment in Slovenian know-how and solutions in the fields of digital transformation, social entrepreneurship and AI, the office said.
