EU condemns inflammatory Turkish rhetoric in statement

BRUSSELS - The Western Balkans has the strength to overcome the current challenges if it is backed by a credible European integration process, EU foreign policy and security chief Federica Mogherini said Monday.

Vucic: EU most significant destination for Serbia
BELGRADE - Serbia is on the European path, and remains firmly on it, Serbian PM Aleksandar Vucic said after a meeting with EU foreign policy and security chief Federica Mogherini Friday.
At a joint press conference with Mogherini, Vucic said the EU was the most significant destination for Serbia and that he believed much improvement could be made in Serbia-EU relations.

Vucic, Mogherini to meet in Belgrade Friday
BELGRADE - Serbian PM Aleksandar Vucic will meet with EU foreign policy and security chief Federica Mogherini in Belgrade on Friday.
Vucic and Mogherini are scheduled to speak to reporters at 2.30 pm, the Serbian government announced in a statement.

Brussels expects less commenting, more engagement

Italy Establishes Fund To Help African Countries Stop Migration
Italy has established a special fund for helping African countries close their borders more successfully in an attempt to prevent migrants from boarding often lethal vessels and travelling to Europe, reported the Foreign Minister of Italy.
Next round of Kosovo dialogue scheduled for February 1
Federica Mogherini has invited prime ministers Aleksandar Vucic and Mustafa to Brussels for another round of the high level Kosovo dialogue.
According to an announcement posted on the website of the EU External Action Service, the meeting will be held on February 1.
Vucic "wants Mogherini to react and condemn K. Albanians"
Aleksandar Vucic has asked EU's Federica Mogherini to "react publicly and condemn Pristina's unprofessional and irresponsible conduct."
State broadcaster RTS reported this "quoting unofficial sources," Tanjug said.
