President of Portugal, mayor of Bucharest's Sector 3 visit Park Lake Plaza construction site
The President of Portugal, Anibal Cavaco Silva, on a state visit to Romania, and the Mayor of the Bucharest's Sector 3, Robert Negoita have visited on Thursday the construction site of the Park Lake Plaza new commercial centre, near the Titan Park.
The project is a private investment worth 180 million euro and it is to be opened next year.
Iohannis: Romania plans to become energy security exporter in region; Portuguese companies want to invest
President Klaus Iohannis on Wednesday said that Romania plans to become an exporter of energy security in the region, showing that Portuguese companies have voiced their intention to invest in Romania in this area.
Iohannis pointed out, after meeting Portuguese President Anibal Cavaco Silva, that Portugal represents a very important partner of Romania.
Portugal says Greece should seal troika deal this week
Portugal's president said on Monday an agreement between Greece and the troika should be reached, "this week if possible."
President Anibal Cavaco Silva, who is head of state in Portugal, told reporters in Sofia: "The situation in Greece is of concern to all countries in the European Union."

BELGRADE -- Head of EU Delegation Michael Davenport has said that Serbia, as candidate for membership, should gradually align its foreign policy with the EU.

GRADINA -- The Serbian border police have seized 4.9 kilograms of heroin at the Gradina crossing, on the border with Bulgaria.
The drugs were found in the luggage of a Portuguese citizen identified with his initials as R.S.G.A.
