Bulgarian Court Convicts Three Men of Match Fixing

The court in Botevgrad convicted on Thursday three men of match fixing after it had been established that they tried  to bribe two players from Bulgaria's under-19 national football team to influence the outcome of a match.

The match in question was the encounter between Bulgaria and Germany during the 2014 European under-19 championship in Hungary.

Legendary Bulgarian PC brand Pravetz is to make the first sales of its Pravetz 64M laptop after having been out of business for more than two decades.

There is a substantial interest in the new devices which could be purchased starting January 15, Boyko Vuchev, who runs Pravetz Computers OOD and also owns the Pravetz brand, is quoted by BGNES news service as saying.

Israel to Build University in Bulgaria's Pravets

Israel will begin the construction of a new university in Bulgaria's Pravets as an affiliate of an elite university in the city of Ariel.

The main focus will be on the Department of Local Government and Public Administration. The new institution will also offer courses in Law, Medicine and Humanities, Standart daily reports.
