Ministry to impose price ceiling to control Turkey's rising meat prices
The Food and Agriculture Ministry has decided to impose a price ceiling for red meat in a bid to control recent rises.
According to new price regulations announced by Minister Faruk Çelik on Feb. 9, the maximum price for a kilo of ground meat will be 32 Turkish Liras (around $11), while the maximum price of a kilo of diced meat will be 34 liras.
ENFIA: The new map for joint property tax values

Govt mess with calls to align objective values with real property prices
The Plenary Council of the State ordered the change of objective property values so that these are based on actual commercial prices in 2015, causing a mad scramble by the government to avoid returning taxes or result in the state losing 2.65 billion euros from the single property tax (ENFIA) in 2016.
