Former Turkish President Demirel passes away

Former Turkish Prime Minister and President Süleyman Demirel, who was twice toppled by the military only to subsequently return to power, has died at the age of 91.

Turkish authorities declared three days of national mourning over the passing of Demirel, known as "Baba" or "Father," to his supporters in Turkey's farming heartland during his years in power.

President Erdo?an pays condolence visit to former President Süleyman Demirel

President Recep Tayyip Erdo?an has made an unscheduled visit to former President Süleyman Demirel to offer condolences for the death of his brother.

This was also the first meeting between the two politicians since Erdo?an was elected president last August.

BELGRADE - Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic will talk with President of Republika Srpska (RS) Milorad Dodik in Belgrade on Monday about the statement by Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

On Sunday, Dodik addressed a letter to Vucic, voicing concern and asking for a meeting over the Turkish prime minister's statement.
