Inmate murders Malandrino deputy warden
The deputy warden of Malandrino Prison in central Greece was murdered on Tuesday by an inmate who used a makeshift knife to slice his victims throat.
Authorities said the 46-year-old prison guard, a father of two, died as he was being taken to the hospital. His windpipe had been severed in the attack, which was carried out by an Albanian inmate.
