Pope Francis Gets Personalized Lamborghini

Pope Francis may have been given a Lamborghini, but he won't be driving it, reported The Local - Italy. 

The pontiff plans to auction his new Lamborghini Huracan - painted especially for him in papal gold and white - to raise money for charity.

Francis received the Italian supercar on Wednesday morning in a ceremony in Vatican City.

Tesla fired hundreds of employees in past week - report

Luxury electric vehicle maker Tesla Inc fired about 400 employees this week, including associates, team leaders and supervisors, a former employee told Reuters on Friday.

The dismissals were a result of a company-wide annual review, Tesla said in an emailed statement, without confirming the number of employees leaving the company.

Bulgarians drive the oldest cars in Europe, according to data from the European Association of Automobile Importers for 2016, quoted by bTV.

The average age of cars in the European Union as a whole is just over 10 years old, and in our country more than 20 years.

Meanwhile, an average of 1,000 Bulgarians have about 510 registered vehicles.

In a little corner of the massive convention center where the Frankfurt Motor Show is held, a relatively unknown Japanese company revealed a car with some mega-sized claims. The company is called Aspark, and its car is called the Owl, a name that apparently derives from the butterfly doors that representatives said look like an owl’s wings.
