An 18-Year-Old Received a Conditional Sentence for Driving After Drug Use
A 18-year-old graduate from Harmanli received a 6-month prison sentence with a 3-year probation period for drug use. She has driven a car after using cocaine, BNR reported.
The girl was arrested on May 26th, the night of her prom. Her driving licence was revoked for 9 months and a fine of 300 leva was imposed.

Student given 18-month sentence for attack against uni professor
An Athens court on Monday handed down an 18-month prison sentence to a 25-year-old university student for taking part in the physical assault against Panteio University professor Angelos Syrigos early last year.
The student was identified by Syrigos as one of the individuals that attacked him after he scolded them for writing slogans on a freshly-painted wall at the university.

The Number of Prisoners Released Early this Year will be a Record
The early released this year will reach a record number. From the beginning of the year to July 21, prisoners released before serving their entire sentence were 632, according to Directorate-General for Execution of Penalties. If the pace persists, by the end of the year there will be another 451 people. This will lead to a record 1083.
