Dismantling of rail tracks to start for Belgrade on Water

BELGRADE - The dismantling of rail tracks on Platform West of the Belgrade railway station will start on Saturday as part of the Belgrade on Water project, the Serbian Railways announced on Friday.

The start of works will be attended by Serbian Railways Director General Dragoljub Simonovic and the head of the Belgrade Interim Authority Sinisa Mali and his associates.

Kuwait marks 53 years of independence

BELGRADE - The Kuwaiti Embassy in Belgrade held a reception at Hotel Hyatt in Belgrade on Monday evening to mark 53 years of independence.

Ambassador Yousef Ahmad Abdulsamad said on the occasion that diplomatic relations between Serbia and Kuwait have spanned over more than fifty years, and noted that the countries have friendly ties and that there are no open issues.
