Weather: It went crazy yesterday in Ioannina – Heatwave in the country for the next two weeks

The weather seems to have gone mad, as while almost all over the country yesterday the mercury had “hit red” with several areas seeing 40s, in Ioannina within two hours the temperature dropped 16ᵒC and the humidity reached 99%, while the storm that hit the area knocked down trees and columns.

Maximum temperature human body can survive identified

Scientists have identified the maximum mix of heat and humidity a human body can survive.

Even a healthy young person will die after enduring six hours of 35-degree Celsius (95 Fahrenheit) warmth when coupled with 100 percent humidity, but new research shows that threshold could be significantly lower.

Serbia is under "attack" again. Appeal sent out to road users

"In Serbia today, the weather will be mostly cloudy, in places with rain and showers with thunder, with more precipitation in the afternoon and in the evening," announced the Republic Hydrometeorological Institute.
A weak and moderate wind will blow, strong in the Koava area, and occasionally stormy, southeasterly in the south of the Banat and in the lower Danube region.

Aid confirmed for farmers stricken by spring frost

Ljubljana – The National Assembly unanimously endorsed on Wednesday a law on measures to help farmers affected by the spring frost. It provides the basis for a final damage assessment and for emergency measures. The majority of deputy groups were in favour of making the aid available as soon as possible.
