Tax Declarations To Be Filed Electronically Only As Of 2017
Tax declarations will be filed electronically only for income accumulated after January 1, 2017, decided Parliament on Wednesday.
The BGN 1,000 discount for declarations filed before March 31, 2017 is still valid.
Tax payers will now be able to correct the declaration once only.

According to sources, the Greek government has reached a compromise with its creditors on the matter of collecting revenue from undeclared wealth. The recommended plan provides that taxpayers who voluntarily disclose undeclared wealth will be charged between 50 and 60% of the difference emerging after a tax audit on bank deposits and declared wealth.

Pepper spray fired at Greek retirees in anti-austerity rally
Greek police have fired pepper spray at retirees taking part in an anti-austerity protest against pension cuts in central Athens near the prime minister's office.
About 1,000 people, some of them with canes, took party in Monday's protest. Dozens of protesters at the front of the rally tried to break through a police cordon and chanted "Shame on you, shame on you!"

Bulgarian Govt Proposes to Ban Sale of Two Key Arms Firms
The Bulgarian government has proposed to ban the sale of arms manufacturer VMZ-Sopot and arms trader Kintex on account of their major importance for national security.
Draft legislation to put the two wholly-state owned companies on the list of enterprises banned for privatisation would be submitted to parliament for approval, the cabinet decided at a weekly meeting on Wednesday.
