Serbia "waiting for EU approval to sell steel plant"
Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic said Thursday that the process of privatization of the steelworks in Smederevo was nearing completion.
Its outcome depends on the European Union giving its consent to carry on with it, he said.
Govt discusses tax reforms with lenders: 50% tax rates
The Greek government’s economic team presented proposals for tax law reforms to representatives of Greece’s four creditors (EC, ECB, ESM, IMF) in Athens on Tuesday. The proposal presented included suggested tax brackets and tax rates with the highest rate at 50% and recommendations for an even higher rate.
Albanian Plan to Privatise VAT Payments Queried
Economists have attacked the Albanian government's plan to allow a private firm to manage data on business VAT payments as lacking in transparency, unnecessary and potentially corrupt.
A private company will be invited to invest in a 10-million-euro technological platform that will be attached to the tax system to track every business transaction in real time.

Turkish PM to meet investors in London in January 2016 to 'share reform agenda'
