A nice surprise on Skiathos

I am full of good memories from my recent holiday experience on the Aegean island of Skiathos, but there is one thing that really stood out: the public transportation.

With the situation in public transportation being what it is in most parts of Greece, any exception is worth mentioning.

Miraculously, no one was hurt despite the incident took place early in the morning. Passengers warned the driver when they noticed a smell coming from the motor.

Passengers injured in public bus crash in Istanbul

Twenty people were wounded when a public bus crashed into a wall after its driver lost control in Istanbul on July 29.

A speeding car first hit another car and then hit the bus in the Çekmeköy neighborhood of Istanbul’s Asian part. The bus could only stop after hitting a wall after drifting for 30 meters.

Four people were killed when a public bus caught fire in Istanbul on July 27.

A fire broke out on the public bus, which was traveling from Tuzla to Topkapı, as it was proceeding on the TEM highway in Kavacık on the Asian side.

The driver managed to stop the bus after crashing into safety fence.
