New pass to allow seamless travel across Slovenia
Slovenia will introduce a new public transport pass on 1 June to allow passengers to use all public transport available in the country except for city transport. Integration of city public transport into the system is planned by the end of the year, according to the Environment Ministry.

Vesic: Two European companies to manage Belgrade metro project
BELGRADE - Serbian Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Goran Vesic said on Monday a consortium of two European companies - Germany's Deutsche Bahn and France's Systra - would be managing a project to build a Belgrade metro system.
New tourism target-markets ‘bringing additional revenue to the Greek economy’

The Municipality of Sofia is extending the operation of public transport in Sofia for Easter, announced the press center of the Municipality.
The transport will run until 01:30 a.m. on the night of the Resurrection of Christ on April 15 to 16, 2023.

Bus and trolley work stoppages on Wednesday
Bus and trolleybus workers will stage a new work stoppage for the third consecutive day on Wednesday, demanding safe and quality public transport.
The work stoppage will last from the start of the shift until 9 a.m. and from 9 p.m. until the end of the shift.
Buses will run normally on the routes assigned to the privately operated KTEL intercity buses.

Work stoppage in buses and trolleys on Wednesday
Workers in Athens' buses and trolley-busses will continue their protest for a second day on Wednesday, with services running only between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m., the Athens Urban Transport Organization's (OASA) workers' union said.
The union is calling for "safe and quality means of transport with respect to human lives." All other means of public transport will operate normally.

Public Transport: Over 7 Million Electronic Tickets sold in Sofia since the Beginning of the Year
Over 7 million electronic tickets have been sold for travel in Sofia's public transport since the beginning of the year until now, according to the Center for Urban Mobility. The most preferred is the 30+ ticket. Up to 10% of people using this ticket transfer to another vehicle within 30 minutes.
