There has to date been no confirmation from any Russian government agencies that there was an incident on Russian soil that could have caused raised levels of pollution from a radioactive isotope, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Wednesday, Reuters reported.

NATO aircrafts, during 78 days of bombing with uranium ammunition, poisoned large part of the territory of Kosovo and Metohija, so even today, with the latest equipment, it is impossible to locate all contaminated areas. Every NATO bullet with depleted uranium, if not detected and extracted, will practically continue killing forever.

Small quantities of radioactivity were detected in the atmosphere of our country, as announced by the Greek Atomic Energy Commission (GAEC).

According to the Commission, the quantities are considered to be extremely small and were detected between the September 27th and October 5th. In particular, it is the isotope, ruthenium-106 (Ru-106) and its source is unknown.

Germany's Federal Office for Radiation Protection said on Thursday that there was an increase in radioactivity in the air in Western and Central Europe, but there is no danger to human health, the Associated Press reported.

South Korea said on Wednesday traces of radioactive xenon gas were confirmed to be from a North Korean nuclear test earlier this month, but it was unable to conclude whether the test had been for a hydrogen bomb as Pyongyang claimed.

The Turkish Health Ministry and the Turkish Atomic Energy Authority (TAEK) have begun to install "radon sensors" in Turkish homes to determine the in-house measured values of radon gas, which makes up the majority of the radiation that stems from natural sources.
