BELGRADE - Serbian First Deputy PM and FM Ivica Dacic met with Surinamese FM Albert Ramdin in Belgrade on Thursday, noting that there were multiple areas in which the two countries could cooperate to boost bilateral ties.

At a joint press conference, Dacic said he was pleased to be able to discuss important national affairs of the two countries with Ramdin.

BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic received Surinamese FM Albert Ramdin on Monday, and noted that Serbia highly valued Suriname for its decision to de-recognise the unilaterally declared independence of the so-called Kosovo.

This confirms Suriname's friendship with Serbia and a commitment to the fundamental principles of international law and the UN Charter, he said.
