Controversial Abraham goal hands Milan victory over Red Star Belgrade

MILAN - Serbian football champions Red Star Belgrade lost 2-1 away to Italian giants Milan in a UEFA Champions League Match Day 6 encounter on Wednesday evening.

Milan took the lead through a Rafael Leao goal in the 42nd minute.

Red Star equalised through Nemanja Radonjic in the 67th minute but Tammy Abraham scored the winner for Milan in the 87th minute.

Partizan overrun by Red Star as Ndiaye scores hat-trick

BELGRADE - Serbian football champions Red Star Belgrade defeated arch-rivals Partizan 4-0 away in a Superliga Matchday 9 game on Monday evening.

In the 174th Eternal Derby, Cherif Ndiaye scored a hat-trick (24 min pen, 55 min, 65 min) for Red Star and Silas Katompa Mvumpa netted three minutes into first half injury time.

Red Star Belgrade lose to Benfica in UEFA Champions League

BELGRADE - Serbian football champions Red Star Belgrade lost 2-1 at home to Portuguese side Benfica on UEFA Champions League Matchday 1 on Thursday evening.

Kerem Akturkoglu and Orkun Kokcu scored for Benfica in the 9th and the 29th minute, while Felicio Milson netted for Red Star in the 86th minute.

On Matchday 2, Red Star face Inter Milan away on October 1.

Red Star Belgrade sweep Partizan to win basketball ABA League

BELGRADE - Red Star Belgrade have claimed their seventh title in the regional basketball ABA League by completing a 3-0 sweep of arch-rivals Partizan in a best-of-five playoffs final series with a 82-76 away win at the Belgrade Arena on Sunday evening.

The Game 3 victory was Red Star's sixth consecutive win over Partizan across all competitions.
