Macedonia's Djurovski named Red Star Belgrade head coach
Former Red Star FC (FK Crvena Zvezda) Belgrade player and coach Bosko Djurovski has returned to the helm of the club, Tanjug is reporting.
Djurovski, who in the past also served as head coach of Macedonia's national team, will succeed Miodrag Bozovic to lead the team until the end of the season, the club has announced.
Red Star win season's first basketball Superliga derby
BELGRADE - Red Star Belgrade beat Partizan 85-74 (23-16, 19-22, 23-18, 20-18) in the second round of the Serbian basketball Superliga late Tuesday.
In what was the first Eternal Derby of the competition, the reigning ABA League and Serbian champions overcame the arch-rivals at the Aleksandar Nikolic Hall for the third time this season.

Red Star crush Buducnost to advance to ABA league final
BELGRADE - Red Star Belgrade are through to their third consecutive final of the basketball ABA league play-offs after beating Buducnost Podgorica 82-59 (21-15, 14-14, 32-22, 15-8) in the Belgrade suburb of Zeleznik late Tuesday to win the semi-final series 2-1.
Red Star Belgrade win Radivoj Korac Cup
NIS - Red Star Belgrade won the Radivoj Korac basketball cup after beating cross-town rivals Partizan 74-64 (23-23, 13-11, 16-13, 22-17) in late Sunday's final in Nis.
In an electric atmosphere at a packed Cair Hall, Marko Guduric and Marko Simonovic led Red Star to the ninth national cup title with 18 points each, while American Dion Thompson added 15.

Bozovic to remain Red Star Belgrade manager
BELGRADE - Montenegrin football manager Miodrag Bozovic on Monday confirmed he would remain in charge at Red Star Belgrade in the second half of the 2016/2017 season next spring.
Following speculation that he might resign after clinching the Serbian Superliga top spot at the end of the autumn part of the season, Bozovic said he would see out the club's title defence campaign.

ATHENS - Red Star Belgrade lost to Olympiacos Piraeus 73-65 (22-18, 23-16, 11-9, 17-22) on the road in Round 13 of the basketball Euroleague on Tuesday.
Head coach Dejan Radonjic's men proved unable to upset the injury-hit hosts, who controlled the game throughout, largely thanks to sub-par 3-point shooting from Red Star (2/17).
