Bosnia Urged to Aid Migrants amid Winter ‘Humanitarian Crisis’
Human rights organisations Amnesty International, the Jesuit Refugee Service Europe, Medecins du Monde Belgique and Refugee Rights Europe called on Tuesday for the authorities in Bosnia and Herzegovina to provide emergency support for migrants, refugees and asylum-seekers.
Filoxenia program for refugees comes to an end
The Filoxenia program providing temporary accommodation to asylum seekers at state-leased hotels has ended, the Migration Ministry announced Thursday.
It said that the lease agreement with hotels across the country will be terminated within the next few days.

Russian Opposition Leader Granted Asylum in Bulgaria
Bulgaria granted political asylum to Russian opposition leader Evgeny Chupov 16 months after he applied for it. Thus, he has refugee status in our country. He himself posted his info on the social network, along with the decision of the State Agency for Refugees. The Russian's wife and their four children will stay in Bulgaria with him.
Migrants, Refugees Spurn Return to Torched Camp in Bosnia
After locals in the town of Bihac in northwest Bosnia protested against plans to relocate migrants and refugees from the torched Lipa camp to the Bira centre, inside the town, Bosnia ordered its armed forces to set up new tents in the Lipa camp where the migrants can stay until the winter adaptation of the camp is completed.

EU Plans to Spend Hundreds of Millions for Helping Refugees Stationed in Turkey
The European Union plans to spend hundreds of millions of euros over the next year helping refugees living in Turkey most of them people who fled the war in Syria.
EU extends support for refugees in Turkey to early 2022
The EU on Dec. 23 announced that humanitarian support for refugees in Turkey will be extended until early 2022.
"These programs help over 1.8 million refugees meet their basic needs and will help over 700,000 children to continue their education," said a European Commission statement.

The European Union plans to spend hundreds of millions of euros over the next year helping refugees living in Turkey, most of them people who fled the war in Syria.
106 migrants relocated to France on Wednesday
One hundred and six asylum-seekers left Greece on Wednesday for Mulhouse, France, according to a Migration Ministry press release Wednesday.
The transport is part of a plan to relocate a total of 1,000 people to France, the ministry said.
So far, 275 asylum seekers and 131 unaccompanied migrant and refugee children have already been relocated to France.
