Imitation Dairy Products will Now be Sold Only in Individual Packages in Bulgaria

Today's imitation dairy products in the country will only be sold at designated store shelves, and only in individual packages. Non-compliant products should be withdrawn from the market.
 
The compliance with the rules will be inspected by reviewers from the Bulgarian Food Safety Agency. The new regulation came into force in the middle of last year.

Data protection agency submits final report under old law

Greek President Prokopis Pavlopoulos was presented on Thursday with the annual report of the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (HDPA).

The report for 2017 was the last written up under European Union legislation on data protection introduced in 1995. New Europe-wide legislation known as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) came into force in Greece in May this year.

New regulations for nurseries

Municipal daycare centers and nurseries across Greece will have five years to comply with new regulations that were finalized last week.

There will be three transition periods for full compliance with the new regulations, starting with ensuring structural safety of all facilities within the next year, then compliance with mobile equipment over the next two years.
