Swedish DJ Avicii Dies Aged 28

Swedish artist and producer Tim Bergling, also known as Avicii, has died, aged 28, his spokesperson confirmed on Friday.

"It is with profound sorrow that we announce the loss of Tim Bergling, also known as Avicii. He was found dead in Muscat, Oman, this Friday afternoon local time," said his press representative in a statement.

Turkey's Oscar entry 'Ayla'

Turkish director Can Ulkay's feature film "Ayla" will be Turkey's Oscar entry for next year's Oscars. 

According to information made by the Artistic Events Commission (SEK), a selective committee of 17 persons, including the Culture and Tourism Ministry officials and cinema professionals, evaluated 13 films and selected "Ayla" for the 90th Academy Awards to be held on March 4, 2018. 

SOLAR SUMMER Festival in Bulgaria Canceled Over Measures Against Loud Music

The organizers of the biggest festival of electronic music in Bulgaria Solar Summer decided to cancel the event over recent measures against noise in Black Sea resorts in which Deputy Prime Minister Valeri Simeonov, police, inspectors from the National Revenue, the Food Safety Agency, the Health and Labor inspectorates and others took part.
