Police detain Revolutionary Struggle fugitive in Athens
Greek police early on Thursday arrested a militant, who was in hiding with her child and whose Revolutionary Struggle group has carried out more than a dozen attacks, including one on the US embassy in Athens in 2007.
Fugitive Revolutionary Struggle member arrested in southern Athens
Pola Roupa, a fugitive member of the Revolutionary Struggle terrorist group and partner of convicted militant Nikos Maziotis was arrested early on Thursday, authorities announced.

Terrorist Nikos Maziotis’ wife arrested Pola Roupa was arrested minutes ago in a still not known area of southern Athens. She was in a house with her child.
She did not resist the arrest and the only thing she said was “don’t hurt my child”.
A 25-year-old woman providing her shelter was arrested with her.

Terrorist suspects returned to pre-trial custody after answering to new charges
Convicted urban guerrilla Costas Sakkas and bank robber Marios Seisidis returned to pre-trial custody on Monday after testifying before an investigating magistrate on charges of belonging to the Revolutionary Struggle terrorist group.
After their testimonies, the two suspects were returned to prison where they are in pre-trial custody in connection with other charges.

Anti-establishment protesters storm Athens appeals court
A group of around six or seven people stormed into the building housing the Athens appeals court on Monday morning and scattered flyers from the seventh floor of the building in support of terrorist suspect Costas Sakkas and bank robber Marios Seisidis who were to testify in the court later in the day.

An attack with an explosive device against the French Embassy, on Vasilisis Avenue, occurred on the morning of Thursday at 5am. According to reports, two individuals riding a motorcycle threw what police believe to be a hand grenade at the main entrance, slightly injuring the officer on guard in his foot.

Counterterrorism officers are taking part in the investigation of an armed robbery at a bank in Malesina, central Greece, on Tuesday, when three suspects took off with 180,000 euros.

Small explosion at Piraeus
A bomb exploded outside a building at Karaiskou street in Piraeus district early on Thursday, causing minor damages, but no injuries were reported.
