BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic told the US television network Newsmax on Friday Serbia's focus was on building bridges - not only to countries in its region, but the whole world.

KRAGUJEVAC - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Wednesday former US official Richard Grenell deserved a Serbian state honour for his contribution to Serbia's progress.

Vucic was speaking to reporters before a Statehood Day ceremony in Kragujevac, central Serbia.

Grenell reacted to the retweeted news that the Minister of Defense of Kosovo, Armend Mehaj, after the Russian intervention in Ukraine, requested urgent membership of Kosovo in NATO and that the United States establishing a permanent military base of U.S. forces in Kosovo.

Grenell wrote on Twitter that he is convinced that the latest violence would not have happened if Donald Trump and his team were still in office.
Grenell stated that the head of UNMIK blames poor communication, the EU, Von der Leyen and NATO for the recent violence. But he is the one who is ineffective & slow.

According to "Sputnik", it seems that the U.S. team for the Balkans, which consists of Gabriel Escobar, the White House special representative for the Balkans, and Matthew Palmer, now in charge of electoral reform in Bosnia-Herzegovina, will get a third team member.

Former US President Donald Trump's envoy for the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina wrote on Twitter that the huge failure of the team of current President Joseph Biden is that it neglected the results achieved by the Trump administration in the Balkans.

"The Biden Administration and the Democrats are failing us both domestically and internationally. It's time to put a fighter in Congress and Robert Kovic is the patriot we need", Grenell said in explaining his decision.
