New Earthquake Rocks Croatia

An earthquake of 4.3 magnitude on the Richter scale shook Croatia again last night. The epicenter was 20 km northwest of Dubrovnik and at a depth of two kilometers, Index news site reported. The quake was felt in southern Dalmatia and in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The quake had a magnitude of 4.3 on the Richter scale.
Residents of Banja Luka felt an earthquake today, just before 11 a.m., with an epicenter in central Croatia.
According to the European Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC), the epicenter was 14 kilometers southwest of Sisak, near Petrinja.

Earthquake Rocked North Macedonia

An earthquake measuring 3,4 on the Richter scale was registered this morning in North Macedonia, European Seismological Center reported.

The quake occurred at 7:44 local time at 15 km from the town of Gostivar and was at a depth of 4 km. No damages or casualties have been reported.

4.3-magnitude tremor felt in eastern Crete

A moderate earthquake hit in the sea area off the northeastern coast of Crete early Monday morning.

According to an automated reading of the Athens Geodynamic Institute, the tremor measured 4.3 on the Richter scale and was recorded 52 kilometres off the town of Sitia.

The Euro-Mediterranean Institute gave a preliminary reading of 4.6.

Another Earthquake in Croatia

 

A new earthquake was registered this morning in Croatia. The quake was of 3.1 magnitude on the Richter Scale, according to the European Seismological Center.

The quake occurred at 7:46 a.m. local time. The epicenter was 43 km south-southeast of Zagreb.
