BELGRADE - In the December 17 elections, Serbian expats will be able to vote at a record-high 81 polling stations in 35 countries around the world.
The majority of the polling stations abroad - 19 - will be in Bosnia and Herzegovina, followed by Germany with six and Austria and Italy with five each.

Election Day abroad has Begun
Election day abroad has begun. At exactly 10:00 p.m. Bulgarian time - 7:00 a.m. local time, the polling stations in Auckland and Christchurch in New Zealand opened their doors to Bulgarian citizens who wish to vote in the National Assembly elections, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on its website. These are the first two overseas sections where election day has started.

Foreign Ministry Proposes Postal Voting for Bulgarian Abroad
The Foreign Ministry will move amendments to election legislation to introduce expatriate voting by postal mail in Bulgarian political elections, require advance registration of Bulgarians willing to vote abroad, and set up an overseas constituency election commission, Foreign Minister Svetlan Stoev told a briefing on Friday.
Turkish citizens living abroad begin casting votes in snap elections
Part of the three million Turkish citizens living abroad have begun voting on June 7 for the June 24 presidential and general elections at customs gates and foreign missions.
Political parties and young voters
The number of citizens aged between 18 and 25 who were eligible to vote in the last elections was around 9 million. This number will surpass 10 million with those who will vote for the first time in the elections on June 24.
