Şırnak clashes

Turkish security forces neutralized eight PKK terrorists during two-day operations in the country's southeast, local officials said on Aug. 25.

The Turkish ministry of environment and urban planning will be constructing a total of 5,716 houses after the houses were demolished in PKK terrorist attacks three years ago in Turkey's southeastern province of Şırnak.

At least 14 PKK militants were "neutralized" in airstrikes in northern Iraq, the military said on Sept. 29.
