Russian state nuclear company Rosatom plans to launch the Akkuyu nuclear plant in Turkey in 2023, it told Reuters, adding that the talks with potential new investors are not expected to affect the construction timetable.

The indicators were detected between September 25 and October 1 in the South Urals, the Russian meteorological office reports.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan invited his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin to attend the ceremony to pour the first concrete at the Akkuyu NPP.

The Russian company Rosatom is open to the possibility to participate in the financing of the Belene NPP if the project is resumed. This was announced by Vadim Titov, who is the director of Rosatom International Network for Central Europe. He participated in a conference dedicated to nuclear energy in Bulgaria.
