Protest and Riots against Green Certificates in Rotterdam, there are Injured

At least seven people were injured in a protest against green certificates in the Dutch city of Rotterdam.

The clashes erupted after protesters pelted police with stones and bottles. In response, security forces fired warning shots. 20 people were arrested.

Due to the situation in the city, trains to Rotterdam have been stopped. Many metro stations are also closed.

Eurovision song organizers expect event as planned for now  

Organizers of the Eurovision Song Contest said they were focused for now on holding the event planned for Rotterdam in May while weighing possible disruptions from the coronavirus crisis.

Dutch public broadcaster NPO said it was in consultations with the European Broadcasting Union, the co-producer of the hugely popular televised event, to review how the virus may impact the contest.

Several members skip Eurovision delegation meeting over coronavirus concerns

The representatives of several nations due to attend a delegations' meeting in the Dutch city of Rotterdam on Monday ahead of this year's Eurovision Song Contest are canceling their trips due to concerns about the spread of the coronavirus, it emerged on Saturday.

Dutch-Greek singer to represent Greece at Eurovision
