Bulgarian Police Officers to Protest in Front of the National Assembly

Bulgarian police officers will meet in front of the National Assembly at 11:00, announced bTV. 

The decision came after the unions and the Interior Minister Valentin Radev failed to understand each other. The police officers insist for an increase in their basic wages and a new law for the Interior Ministry.

President Rumen Radev to Attend NATO Summit in Brussels and Make Official Visit to Vatican

Bulgarian President Rumen Radev will take part in the Meeting of NATO Heads of State and Government in Brussels on 25 May, the press secretariat of the head of state announced.
The focus of the meeting is expected to be on issues related to just distribution of member states' financial contributions to the Alliance's defensive capabilities, as well as the fight against terrorism.

Government to Restart Sofia Airport Concession Procedure

Finance Minister Vladislav Goranov said the government will restart the concession procedure for Sofia Airport, FOCUS News Agency reported.

''The strategy for the airport concession remains unchanged, there is no reason for changes'', he said.

Additionally, the government expects the resubmission of a bill for concessions which has been rejected by President Rumen Radev.
