Winter sales from January 13 to February 28
Winter sales are set to begin on January 13 and run until February 28. Stores may voluntarily open on the first two Sundays of the sales, January 19 and 26, with proposed hours from 11 am to 6 pm, according to retail associations.

Winter sales 2025: start on 13 January – Open on Sundays 19/1 and 26/1
On Monday, January 13, the winter sales will begin and run through Friday, February 28.
As the Thessaloniki Trade Association said in a statement, stores are allowed to open voluntarily on the first two Sundays of the regular winter sales, i.e. on January 19 and 26, 2025, with suggested opening hours on those two days, from 11:00 to 18:00.
Summer sales kick off, run till late August
Summer sales started on Monday across Greece and will end on August 31.
Under the current law, stores can open voluntarily this Sunday, July 14, the first Sunday of the sales period, on a schedule of 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Quest remains only bidder for Kotsovolos
Plaisio Computers will not bid for the acquisition of electrical appliances and electronics retailer Kotsovolos, Kathimeini understands, leaving Quest Group as the only, non-binding, bidder so far.

3,350 houses sold to foreigners in Türkiye in February
House sales to foreigners in Türkiye decreased by 27.0 percent in February compared to the same month last year, the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) announced on March 15.
A total of 3,350 houses were sold to foreigners last month, accounting for 4.2 percent of the country's total house sales of 80,031.
