Predrag Kon: "Medical part of the Crisis Staff is strictly against easing measures"
However, as he said, "reality is as it is" and that "they will consider this decision again".
He said on RTS that he did not even know why the application of the measure that one can enter Serbia only with a negative PCR test was postponed for two days and is valid only from midnight.
COVID-19 in Bulgaria - 2042 New Cases and 3218 Cured
2,042 are the new cases of COVID-19 for the last 24 hours in Bulgaria. 6 825 PCR tests were performed. Nearly 30 percent of them are positive. This is shown by the data on the Unified Information Portal.

Most new cases are in Sofia - 361, followed by Varna - with 207 and Burgas - 202 new cases.
Bulgarian Government Approves AI Development Concept
The government has approved the Concept for the Development of Artificial Intelligence in Bulgaria by 2030.
The concept provides for systems, applications and services based on artificial intelligence technologies to support the development of education, public services, agriculture, health and the environment.

The Crisis Staff decided - no new measures until Monday
At today's session, the Crisis Staff discussed the epidemic situation and the possible introduction of new measures, considering that St. Nicholas, New Year's and Christmas holidays are imminent.
The measure of introducing mandatory quarantine and PCR test for Serbian citizens who would come from abroad was discussed, but the decision on that has not been made yet, RTS reports.
COVID-19: 3328 New Cases and Steady High Numbers of Recovered in Bulgaria
The number of newly infected with coronavirus in the country is 3328 for the last 24 hours, according to the data of the Unified Information System.
This is 38.7% of the 8578 PCR tests performed for the specified period.The cured patients again for another consecutive day are over three thousand people - 3050.
