Vucic: Proposal made to raise reward for Olympic gold to 200,000 euros
BELGRADE - After a meeting with representatives of the Olympic Committee of Serbia (OCS), Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said a proposal had been made to the government to raise the reward for gold medals at the upcoming Olympic Games in Paris to 200,000 euros.

The ceremony was attended by Olympic Committee of Serbia President Bozidar Maljkovic, General Secretary Djordje Visacki, and all members of Team Serbia.
In attendance was also President of United World Wrestling and new member of the International Olympic Committee's Executive Board Nenad Lalovic.
Karakasevic secures visa for 2016 Rio Olympics
BELGRADE - Serbian table tennis player Aleksandar Karakasevic will be a participant in the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, the Serbian Olympic Committee said in a release on Sunday.
Karakasevic, bronze medallist at the European Championships in 2011, is competing his fifth Olympics.

Bach:Serbia a friend,Kosovo's admission in interest of sport
BELGRADE - International Olympic Committee (IOC) President Thomas Bach, who is paying a one-day visit to Belgrade, said on Friday that Serbia is a great friend and partner of the IOC and that Kosovo's admission to full membership in the IOC was in the interest of sport and athletes.
