Charity show for restoration of Banjska Monastery
BERLIN - On the occasion of seven centuries of existence of the Banjska Monastery in Kosovo-Metohija, the ensemble of the Serbian National Theatre from Pristina staged a play entitled "Banjsko zlato" (the Gold of Banjska) at the Serbian Orthodox Church (SPC) in Dusseldorf.

Patriarch Irinej to visit Zeitenlik, Hilandar
BELGRADE - Patriarch Irinej of the Serbian Orthodox Church (SPC) will visit the Hilandar monastery at Mt. Athos in Greece, following the liturgy and memorial service to victims of World War I which he will serve at the Serbian military cemetery of Zeitenlik, on the occasion of the 100 years since the onset of WWI.

MPs condemn daubing of ISIS, "Caliphate is coming" graffiti
BELGRADE - Serbian MPs on Tuesday condemned the daubing of graffiti on the buildings and the gate of the Orthodox monastery of Decani that promote the creation of an Islamic state and a worldwide caliphate, which they said reflects the instability in Kosovo-Metohija.

BELGRADE - New graffiti in support of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) and the Albanian National Army (AKSh) appeared on the gate of Visoki Decani monastery, southern Kosovo-Metohija, on Monday morning, Sava Janjic, prior of the Serbian Orthodox monastery Visoki Decani, wrote on Twitter.

ISIS, KLA graffiti sprayed inside Decani monastery compound
BELGRADE - Prior of the Serbian Orthodox monastery Visoki Decani Sava Janjic said on Sunday the monks at that monastery in southern Kosovo were concerned over the graffiti that had been sprayed on some of the buildings inside the monastery compound, and that they expected KFOR and the Kosovo police to implement better security measures.

Office for Kosovo urges better protection for Visoki Decani
BELGRADE - The Serbian government's Office for Kosovo-Metohija has condemned strongly the threats against the monastery of Visoki Decani and urged Kfor to boost military protection of the monastery and identify and bring to justice as soon as possible the unknown perpetrator who has threatened to raze it.

GRAČANICA -- A graffiti reading "UCK" - Albanian for "KLA", the so-called Kosovo Liberation Army - appeared on the gate of the Visoki Dečani Monastery early on Friday.
This is according to a statement issued by the Eparchy of Raška and Prizren of the Serbian Orthodox Church (SPC).
