ISTOK - Minister for Communities and Returns in the Kosovo government Dalibor Jevtic said Monday that an attack had taken place on the property of the Serb returnee family Spasic from the village of Djurakovac in the municipality of Istok, in the western part of the southern Serbian province of Kosovo-Metohija (KiM).

Families of kidnapped Serbs want indictments

BELGRADE -- An association of families of Serb victims in Kosovo has expressed dissatisfaction with a statement of organ trafficking case investigator Clint Williamson.

The American prosecutor who heads a EU special team said in Brussels there was "not enough evidence" to raise indictments.

The Serbian government said that local politician Oliver Ivanovic, who has been in custody since January on suspicion of involvement in war crimes and murders in Kosovo, should be bailed.

KOSOVSKA MITROVICA - The Citizens' Initiative SDP for Kosovo-Metohija, whose leader Oliver Ivanovic has now been in detention for six months without an indictment, has called on the Serbian government to demand from the international community that Ivanovic be released pending trial.

Kosovo authorities commemorated the death of Zymberi and inaugurated a new building at the headquarters of the Kosovo Police in Pristina in honour of the police officer who was killed in the north of the country three years ago.

KOSOVSKA MITROVICA - Kosovo Minister for Communities and Return Dalibor Jevtic said Friday that 108 internally displaced persons (IDPs) returned to Kosovo in the course of this year, adding that a higher rate of returns requires cooperation between Pristina and Belgrade institutions.

BELGRADE - Director of Serbian government's Office for Kosovo-Metohija (KiM) Marko Djuric said that Serb representatives in the province are ready to participate in the new Kosovo government, but only under certain conditions.
