US and South Korean defense ministers Lloyd Austin and Kim Yong-hyun have urged North Korea to pull its troops out of Russia, with reports indicating that around 10,000 North Korean soldiers are stationed there for potential engagement against Ukrainian forces, according to AFP.

Russian Permanent Representative to the UN, Vasily Nebenzya, emphasized that despite claims by Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump that he could resolve the Ukraine conflict in 24 hours if elected, the reality is far more complex and the war cannot be resolved swiftly.

According to RIA Novosti, the emergency meeting of the UN Security Council was requested by the. permanent representative of Ukraine to this organization, Sergiy Kyslytsya.
In a letter to the chairman of the UN Security Council, Kyslytsya requested that the meeting be held under the item "Maintaining peace and security in Ukraine".

Russia's Permanent Representative to the UN Vasily Nebenzya left a meeting of the World Security Council meeting on Ukraine over a statement by European Council President Charles Michel, who accused Russia of causing a global food crisis with its invasion of the neighboring country.
