Road win for Greens, home loss for Reds
Panathinaikos and Olympiakos are back level on the Euroleague table, after Panathinaikos won at Villeurbanne on Thursday and Olympiakos suffered a home reverse to Valencia on Friday.
The Greens defeated Euroleague bottom team Villeurbanne in France with an 89-81 score, to snap their three-game losing streak.

Željko's "magic" turned the derby around VIDEO
Partizan defeated Red Star in a turbulent Euroleague derby in a dramatic final 88:86.
The black and whites dropped +15 in the first half, and then trailed by 11 points about five minutes before the end of the match.
It was then that Obradovi performed his "magic" and turned the situation around with a move he had not made in the current season.

Serbia lose to Germany in basketball world cup final
MANILA - The Serbia men's national basketball team won the silver medal at the 2023 FIBA World Cup after an 83-77 (23-26, 24-21, 22-10, 14-20) defeat to Germany in the competition's final in Manila on Sunday.
Aleksa Avramovic led the scoring for Serbia with 21 points and Bogdan Bogdanovic added 17.
Serbia is going to Paris, but will play 200 km away
But according to the decision of the organizers of the games in the capital of France, basketball games in the group stage will be played 200 kilometers away from Paris.
Namely, the first phase of the basketball tournament will be played at the Pierre Mouret stadium in Lille, where the European Championship final was played in 2015.

MANILA - Serbia are through to the quarter-finals of the FIBA Basketball World Cup after beating the Dominican Republic 112-79 (29-15, 27-20, 31-18, 25-26) in the second phase of the competition's group stage on Sunday.
Bogdan Bogdanovic led Serbia with 20 points, Vanja Marinkovic and Nikola Milutinov each scored 16 points and Filip Petrusev added 14 points.
Greece loses to Montenegro, 73-69, in final World Cup game
Greece, already eliminated from the FIBA World Cup quarterfinals, ended its campaign Sunday with a 73-69 loss to Montenegro.
With the loss, Greece (2-3) finished last in Group J, the Round of 16 group. Lithuania and the USA, who were to play later Sunday, have already made the quarterfinals.
Greece crashes out of the FIBA World Cup
Greece has missed out on the quarterfinals of the FIBA World Cup as it crumbled against Lithuania in the second half on Friday to go down 92-67.
The Greek national team wasted an eight-point advantage (40-32) late in the first half, that ended 43-39, to suffer a bad loss in the be-all and end-all match in the second phase of the tournament.

Serbia lose to Italy at basketball world cup
MANILA - Serbia lost to Italy 78-76 (23-19, 17-23, 19-20, 19-14) in the first game of the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 second phase in Manila on Friday.
Bogdan Bogdanovic led Serbia with 18 points, three rebounds and four assists and Nikola Milutinov added 14 points and 12 rebounds.
