BNS requests Government to return upon decision of delaying increase of children's allowance
The National Union Block (BNS) is requesting the Government to return upon the decision of delaying the growth of children's' allowance, foreseen to take place on July 1, 2021 and to show availability for consulting social partners regarding the identification of a package of measures to combating poverty among children.

About 28.7% of EU Residents Are at Risk of Poverty or Social Exclusion
In 2018, about 28.7% of the EU population with a disability (aged 16 or over) was at risk of poverty or social exclusion, compared with 19.2% of those with no limitation, Eurostat data show.
There are significant differences across Member States, yet in all of them people with a disability are more exposed to the risk of poverty and social exclusion than those with none.

Every third Bulgarian lives at risk of poverty or social exclusion, Eurostat data for poverty level in the Member States in 2018 showed. About 2.3 million people in the country live below the poverty line, which in Bulgaria is officially BGN 350 per month.
One in three Greeks at risk of poverty in 2018
Greece had the European Union's third highest rate of people at risk of poverty or social exclusion last year, amounting to 31.8 percent, Eurostat said on Wednesday.
Greece was one of seven EU member-states where over a quarter of the population were at risk of poverty or social exclusion.

Bulgarian-Swiss Program Gives 2500 Children a Chance to Go to Kindergarten
