Mykonos is top LGBT tourist spot in Greece
Mykonos has achieved the top place amongst “Gay Friendly” tourism destinations for the first time.
The island is a very lucrative destination for LGBT tourists, something which is marked by the tourism kiosk to be set up this year in Berlin’s tourism expo.

Ferry adrift off the coast of Mykonos
Melina II ferry is adrift at the sea region of Rinia islet near Mykonos under adverse weather conditions, due to engine failure.
According to the Coast Guard, the ferry was not carrying any passengers and was anchored in the area.

Greek doctors offered 450-euro bonus to work on small islands
The Southern Aegean Regional Authority said on Tuesday that it is going to pay 60 new doctors an extra 450 euros a month for three years to help cover the shortage of medics on many Cycladic and Dodecanese islands.
Authorities want the doctors to work at various local health centers and hospitals.
Bodies of man, woman found off Dodecanese islands
The remains of an unidentified man were discovered in the sea off Marmari beach on the Dodecanese island of Kos, on Friday, local authorities announced on Saturday.
The body was in a state of advanced decomposition and had black underwear.

A Turkish Coast Guard transport plane was caught by Greek military radar flying over the eastern Aegean island of Farmakonisi on Saturday.

Rhodes policemen suspended for moonlighting as bodyguards
Two policemen on the Dodecanese island of Rhodes have been suspended over charges of providing illegal bodyguard services to an Emirati national who was vacationing on the island.
The officers, aged 35 and 37, were accused of providing their services during the June-August period this year and in September last year.
