Turkish companies make $105 mln investment in S Sudan agro-industrial project
Turkish companies are making a $105-million investment in an agro-industrial project in South Sudan, Turkey's Ambassador in Juba has said.
Speaking during his visit to the project site on May 11, Erdem Mutaf noted that the investment in the agro-industrial complex will cover different production lines and also create job opportunities for South Sudanese.
Plane crash in South Sudan leaves 10 people dead
A commercial plane crashed late on March 2 in South Sudan, killing all 10 people on board, according to the governor of Jonglei state.
Ten people including eight passengers and two pilots lost their lives after South Supreme Airlines flight HK-4274 bound for the capital Juba took off from the town of Pieri in Jonglei state and crashed, said Denay Jock Chagor.
