MEXICO CITY, Mexico - The presidents of Mexico and Israel spoke over the telephone this week with the intention of defusing the controversy over comments made by Israeli Premier Benjamin Netanyahu about US President Donald Trump's plans for a wall on his nation's southern border.

Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto has said his country will not pay for a massive wall U.S. President Donald Trump is moving to build on the border with Mexico. 

Hungary has strengthened security measures along its "southern border" due to the increased influx of migrants.

They are damaging the border fence and entering the country illegally, it has been reported.
