Veljovic:Pescanik website attack investigation, results soon
BELGRADE - The police are working on identifying the persons who disabled the Pescanik website, and the results are expected to arrive these days, Police Director Milorad Veljovic stated on Wednesday.
He told reporters that the police are close to discovering where the attack on this website came from.

The Belgrade-based newspaper said it was citing police sources.

Man arrested over online travel deal scam
A 31-year-old man in the northern port city of Thessaloniki was facing fraud charges for developing an online travel deal scam.
According to initial reports the suspect posted an announcement on a social networking website regarding a supposedly organized trip for two to a European country.

Companies warned of fraudsters using hacked e-mail accounts
The polices electronic crimes squad issued a warning to companies on Thursday to take care with their banking transactions.
According to the statement, there has been a spike in the number of firms complaining that they have been the victims of fraud.
Tunisian sought over employment scam
Police in Thessaloniki were seeking on Wednesday a Tunisian national over an alleged employment scam.
The 59-year-old suspect is believed to have charged 102 people seeking employment over 62,000 euros through an illegal agency he allegedly operated in Athens and Thessaloniki.

Priest arrested over bogus job scheme
A 30-year-old priest from Thessaloniki who is alleged to have swindled tens of thousands of euros from scores of unsuspecting Greeks by promising them jobs that never materialized was detained on Monday on fraud charges along with a 45-year-old unemployed resident of the northern port city.
