Most of the High Schools Graduates Will Sit a Biology or English Exam

The second mandatory exam for High Schools Graduates will take place tomorrow. At 6:00 in the morning, in room 5 of the Ministry of Education and Science, one of the attending journalists at the event will drag out the variant of the second mandatory state matriculation exam. The students have the right to choose between 13 subjects.

This year 41 716 students will take the test.

Today High School Graduates Take State Exam in Bulgarian Language and Literature

52 650 students have submitted applications for Bulgarian language and literature state exam, which is held today, the press center of the Ministry of Education and Science announced.
 
They must wear their personal ID card and attendance note for the exam. They are required to write with a black pen.
 

53,000 Bulgarian High School Seniors Go to State Exams at the End of May

Nearly 53,000 senior students will attend each of the two compulsory state examinations at the end of May. The first in Bulgarian language and literature will take place on May 21 at 8:00 am and on May 23 at the same time, the second will be the subject of choice. Additional state exams by choice will be between May 28th and May 31th.

Greek university entrance exams get under way

On Thursday, students vying for entry to technical schools also sat exams on the same subject. More than 104,000 candidates are trying to get into universities and technical colleges, the police force, the fire brigade and military academies.

Thousands of Students are Taking Bulgarian Language and Literature Exams

Over 55,000 students are taking Bulgarian language and literature exams. Journalist from the Monitor newspaper Stella Marinova was chosen by lot made by Deputy Minister Tanya Mihaylova to generate the Bulgarian language and literature test for the state exam today, reports bgnes.

Detestable backtracking

The Education Ministry's frequent shilly-shallying around the issue of the country's university entrance exam system has borne unacceptable results.

Under a plan approved by Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras and his cabinet, prospective university students in their final year of high school will now have to take the notorious entrance exams twice - once in January and again in June.
