Turkish Airlines buys 15 Boeing 737 MAX airplanes
U.S. aerospace giant Boeing and Turkish Airlines on June 16 finalized an order for 15 additional 737 MAX 8s, valued at $1.6 billion at list prices, the companies said.
The deal stemmed from the Turkish flag carrier's biggest Boeing order in its history, in May 2013, for 70 single-aisle 737s, Boeing best-selling airplane.

Croatia's first low-cost airline company, Dalmatian, starts functioning on June 30 after long years of preparation.
Singapore Airlines launches direct Athens-Singapore flights
Singapore Airlines on Tuesday started twice-weekly direct flights from Athens to Singapore, every Monday and Thursday.
The service will run to October 9 on Boeing 777-200ER aircraft.
The airline also operates 33 weekly flights linking Athens and Singapore via Istanbul in a code-share partnership with Aegean and Turkish Airlines.
Lufthansa Strike Could Affect 4,000 Flights
Around 900 flights were cancelled during the first day of German airline Lufthansa's strike.
The strike, which will last 3 days, could affect another 3,000 flights and 425,000 passengers, the BBC reports.
Lufthansa is re-booking passengers to other airlines or train services in order to ease the disruption.

Lufthansa Employees Go on Strike, 600 Flights Cancelled
Hundreds of Lufthansa flights will be canceled because of a planned strike at German airports, which begins on Thursday night.
According to a press statement published on Wednesday, the German airline would be grounding 600 flights, the DW reports.
Air Serbia and Adria Airways sign codeshare agreement
BELGRADE - Air Serbia has signed a codeshare agreement with Adria Airways from Slovenia, which will enter into force on February 17 and give Air Serbia exclusive rights to flights between Belgrade and Ljubljana.
Air Serbia started having daily flights to Ljubljana on December 10, 2013.
