The Star Wars saga has the stuff Ancient Greek myths are made of. French artist Travis Durden created portraits of Star Wars characters using photographs of statues from the Louvre and heads of Star Wars figures commissioned through a 3D modeler.

The iconic bikini worn by Princess Leia in “Return of the Jedi” sold for $96,000 at the “Profiles of History” online auction Friday.

It included the collar and chain links alien gangster Jabba the Hutt used to keep the kidnapped princess on a tight leash, as well as a letter of authenticity from the costume designer.

The winning bidder was not named.

Ukraine's Central Electoral Commission rejected Darth Vader's application for registration as a presidential candidate at the upcoming elections. 

According to the commission, parts of Darth Vader's application were "questionable" and some paperwork was probably forged, reports BBC.
