At least 19 drown in river in India
At least 19 people have died in India’s eastern state of Bihar after a boat sank in the Ganges River, according to police. The reported 40 passengers on board were returning on Saturday from watching a kite-flying celebration to mark Makar Sankranti, a religious festival that is believed to carry the arrival of spring.

Serbia was given a 1-0 lead by Dusan Lajovic, who defeated Yuki Bhambri 6-3, 6-2, 7-5, and it was increased by Filip Krajinovic beating Somdev Devvarman 6-1, 4-6, 6-3, 6-2.

India train hits school bus, at least 11 children dead
A passenger train rammed into a school bus in southern India on Thursday killing at least 11 children, with fears the death toll could rise further, officials said.
A senior police officer said "11 students and the bus driver were killed", while a railway official said he feared as many as 25 children were dead after the collision in Telangana state.
