Ukrainian forces have reportedly used British Challenger 2 tanks during their offensive in the Kursk region, according to sources cited by the BBC. The UK Ministry of Defense has declined to specify which London-supplied weapons were deployed by the Ukrainian military in this operation.

The UK Ministry of Defense has confirmed that Ukraine is permitted to use British weapons on Russian territory, with the exception of long-range Storm Shadow missiles, which cannot be used to target locations within Russia's borders according to UK government policy.

Newly appointed British Prime Minister Keir Starmer has indicated that Ukraine may utilize UK-supplied Storm Shadow missiles to target locations within Russia, according to reports from Sky News. Starmer made these remarks during a press briefing in Washington, where he is currently attending the NATO summit.

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz has affirmed that Germany will not supply Taurus cruise missiles to Ukraine, as reported by DPA. This decision comes after German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock suggested the possibility of giving the missiles to Great Britain, in exchange for London sending Storm Shadow missiles to Ukraine.

The UK Defense Secretary has said that Storm Shadow missiles will be supplied to the Ukrainian military - and Sky News has learned that some of the missiles are already with Ukrainian troops.
Responding to reports that such a deal had been reached, Moscow said the move would require an "adequate response from the Russian military."
